Ingredients

  • 4 - House of Meats Boneless Pork Chops or Bone In Pork Chops

  • Olive oil

  • 1tsp Onion Powder

  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Paprika

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • 1/2 White Onion, Chopped

  • 2 cloves of Garlic, Chopped

  • 4 oz Orange Juice

  • 1 tbsp Mustard

  • 1 tbsp Honey

  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Corn Starch

Preparation

Step 1:

Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel and lightly coat them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Step 2:

In a small bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Liberally coat both sides of the pork chops with the spice mixture. Set aside and let them rest for 20 minutes.

Step 3:

In a small bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: orange juice, mustard, honey, soy sauce, and cornstarch, until fully combined. Set aside.

Step 4:

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork chops and cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and loosely tent them with foil to keep warm.

Step 5:

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the chopped onions until soft and translucent. Add the chopped garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Step 6:

Pour in the prepared sauce mixture, stirring continuously. Cook over medium-low heat for about 2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

Step 7:

Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them in the sauce. Let them warm through for another 2 minutes, ensuring they are well-coated.

Step 8:

Serve immediately with mashed red skin potatoes and green beans with fried onions for a complete meal.
